Personal project
Munchly is a concept website for a fast-food restaurant serving burgers, sides and desserts. Visitors can browse the menu by category, open any item to see its details and price, add it to their cart and place an order, all in a playful, colourful design that feels as fun as the food.
I built it as a personal project to practise creating a complete ordering experience for a restaurant: a categorised menu, individual product pages, a shopping cart and checkout, together with About, Blog and Contact pages that give the brand a personality.
Design and front-end development of the whole site: page layouts, the menu with category filtering, product pages, the cart and checkout flow, responsive behaviour for desktop, tablet and mobile, and the animated, card-based visuals.
The style is bold and playful: a warm yellow background, huge condensed headlines paired with a hand-drawn red script (“Bite”, “Menu”, “Touch”), and chunky black outlines with offset shadows on cards and buttons. Tilted, animated photo cards and bright product backgrounds make the food the star of every page.
A web app that automatically builds the weekly staff schedule of a shop or café, respecting every shift rule.
A digital menu that customers open by scanning a QR code, with an admin panel where the store updates products and prices.
A live air quality monitor for 90 areas across Greece, with an interactive map, forecasts and outdoor activity advice.
An online two-player version of Plakoto, the traditional Greek backgammon game, with a lobby and server-side rules.
